Description:
The JW Player for HTML5 Beta was a skinnable and configurable player built around the video tag specification found in HTML5. It enabled a seamless fallback to the JW Player for Flash. It included support for JW Player 5 Skinning, and had a Java Script API.
Generally, the following video formats are supported by the player:
- H264 baseline video / AAC low-complexity audio in the MP4 container (example).
Supported for Safari 4+, iPhone/iPad, Chrome 3+, Internet Explorer 9+ and as part of the Flash fallback. - H264 baseline video / AAC low-complexity audio in the MOV container.
